The unrivaled social media giant, Facebook, is often seen implementing its policies without any prior notice. While some are directed towards the restriction of fake people in the social community, some are often seen directed towards censoring the works and deeds of the conservative groups.
The conservative groups are not always the likes of ISIS or other terrorist organization but simply a group that has its identity based on a particular religion. The group may be working towards the betterment of a society or a community or a country, but Facebook used to pass them off under the banner of conservative groups.
So, when the Facebook CEO appeared in front of 44 senators in the US for a hearing, questions directed towards him was absolutely on point and legible. He was appearing for the recent data breach that occurred in Facebook, courtesy the Cambridge Analytica. One of the senators, Ted Cruz, asked him about why his stance had been so stern for the conservative groups but absolutely relaxing for the liberals? Are all liberals exceptionally good and working towards betterment of the society and all conservatives bad. Sadly, Mark Zuckerberg had no answer to this.
Here’s a video on how the 33-year-old Facebook CEO kept mum through the question and did not utter a single word to justify this arrangement. Please take a look at the video –
Today I questioned Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg about Facebook’s past censorship of conservative groups. I asked if the same actions had ever been taken against liberal groups, but did not get an answer. pic.twitter.com/IEuad3uJk5

What do you think about this? Do you think Mark Zuckerberg should have implemented restrictive settings based on extremists groups rather than on the broad divisions of conservative and liberal? Please share your views with us in the comments section below.
