With the Karnataka elections coming in, oppositions seem to be trying their best to pull PM Modi off his winning streak. Not just politicians from Karnataka but even from other states are trying with all their might to pull BJP and PM Modi off their chairs.
The latest person to join this crusade is none other than Dalit leader Jignesh Mewani. In what seems to be an atrocious provocation based on caste distinctions, Jignesh Mewani was seen calling the various Dalit organizations “to enter PM Modi’s rally, throw chairs in the air and question the prime minister’s promise to generate two crores worth of employment in the state”.
In a video leaked from a Dalit meeting, Mewani can be seen saying –
If Modi does not answer, then he should be asked to leave and take shelter at a Ram Mandir in the Himalayas….
I am here to awaken the masses over the risk of fascism and ensure that BJP doesn’t enter South India.”

Meanwhile, Mewani provocative speeches had an FIR lodged against him by authorities enforcing the Model Code of Conduct.
The speech was made at an interaction event of Mr Mewani with Dalit organisations in Chitradurga, which was organized by the office bearers of Komu Souhardha Vedike .
What is your opinion of Jignesh Mewani’s atrocious speech? Do you think provoking common citizens against the Prime Minister – or any other politician for that matter – is the right way to capture the vote bank? Please let your opinions be heard by commenting in the section below.
