Upcoming movie Indu Sarkar has been facing a lot of heat from the Congress party ever since its trailer was released. Haseeb Ahmad of Sonia Gandhi’s INC went to the extent of handing out posters that promise to Rs. 1 Lakh rupees to whoever dares to put black ink on Madhur Bhandarkar’s face.

Some sycophants of the Congress party are even demanding that Congress party should get to see the film BEFORE it’s seen by the Censor Board.

It seems that panic struck Congress party is leaving no stone unturned to cause trouble for this film and the filmmaker.

In the recent past, whenever it has suited its interest Congress party had come in support for freedom of speech and freedom of expression (RaGa at JNU was a shining example) but for now, all those can rest. After all, the (fake) Gandhi family has always been scared of facing public scrutiny through books, movies, documentaries, etc.

“Since 42 years, a lot has been stated and published about 1975 Emergency. But only when a film is made, one is threatened with legal consequences,” Bhandarkar tweeted on Friday.

We hope cops have taken note of the kind of threats that Congress leader has issued against the filmmaker. As for Congress Party’s attempts at having the movie trimmed to their liking – they will most likely fail.
